This work was created in response to a residency at the Broken Hill Art Exchange.

I was immediately struck by the effect mining had had on the landscape and this led me to create solar prints directly from my drawings made in the field around the city. With additional ghostly shapes created with relief printing I formed  the prints into lengthy panoramic vistas, aiming to convey a sense of the scale of destruction.
